Mutton Snapper * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Captain Ralph has fished the Atlantic Ocean for most of his life, and the Southern Florida and surrounding areas including the Florida Keys and the Bahamas for the past 18 years. Capt. Ralph is happy to catch and release at the angler’s request. He is a strong advocate of billfish conservation, and is proud of his release record. Normally we will attempt to release billfish unharmed so that they can provide enjoyment to anglers for years to come. The angler can still have a mount of his fish (fiberglass), since we will attempt to take a picture and measurements of your fish before releasing. | |

It features a state-of-the-art electronics package, consisting of EPIRB, Furuno color chart GPS, Furuno color depth/fish finder, 2 VHF radios, and AM-FM-CD Stereo. At Gon' Catchin' Charters we use Penn tackle. Personalized attention from our experienced crew will make you feel like a friend. Atlantic sailfish Captain Les (pictured above), as well as captain Ralph, specialize in light tackle offshore charters for pelagics such as Dolphin-fish (Mahi-Mahi), Sailfish, Kingfish, Wahoo, Tuna and night trips for Swordfish. We also target reef and wreck fish such as Groupers, Snappers, Mackerel, African Pompano, Amberjacks, Sharks, and Barracudas. The captains are experienced in many different angling methods, including Trolling, Kite Fishing, Reef Fishing, Wreck Fishing, Drifting and use live or artificial baits as required. | |
